W sobotę 20 czerwca za pośrednictwem Twittera Justin Bieber został oskarżony przez dwie młode kobiety o molestowanie seksualne. Pierwsza z kobiet, Danielle opublikowała długie oświadczenie dotyczące nocy spędzonej z gwiazdorem. Twierdzi, że poznała go w marcu 2014 roku w Austin w Texasie na wydarzeniu zorganizowanym przez Scootera Brauna, managera piosenkarza. – Bawiłam się razem z moimi przyjaciółmi. W pewnym momencie podszedł do nas mężczyzna i zapytał czy chcemy zaczekać, żeby poznać Justina po koncercie. Oczywiście się zgodziliśmy. Sądziliśmy, że jest to trochę podejrzane, ale zgodnie z obietnicą, czekaliśmy. Justin podszedł do nas, robiliśmy sobie zdjęcia i rozmawialiśmy przez około 20 minut – opisuje Danielle. Kobieta pisze także, że razem ze znajomymi została zaproszona do hotelu Four Seasons, gdzie dwójka jej przyjaciół został umieszczona w jednym z pokoi, ona z kolei miała zostać zaprowadzona przez Biebera do osobnego pomieszczenia, gdzie zabrano jej telefon oraz kazano obiecać, że nic nie powie o tym wieczorze pod groźbą kłopotów prawnych.
Piosenkarz miał poprosić ją by „dołączyła do niego w łóżku”, gdzie mieli się przez moment całować. Następnie Bieber miał „popchnąć ją na łózko i rozebrać”, a Danielle miała mu powiedzieć, że „sprawy idą za daleko i powinni przestać”. Gwiazdor miał „kazać się jej zrelaksować”, „zdjąć jej bieliznę” i „siłą dokonać penetracji”. – Gdy tam leżałam, bez słowa, moje ciało wydawało mi się bezwładne. Nie chcę opisywać więcej szczegółów odnośnie tego, co wydarzyło się dalej. Mimo że minęło 6 lat, a ja byłam od niego rok starsza (on miał 20 lat, ja 21), zostałam zaatakowana seksualnie bez mojej zgody – pisze Danielle.
Jej konto zdążyło zniknąć z serwisu. Justin Bieber postanowił jednak odnieść się do zarzutów na swoim Twitterze. Muzyk napisał, że opisywana historia „nie jest prawdziwa” i zapowiedział, że podzieli się dowodami potwierdzającymi, że nie było go w tym miejscu w danym czasie. Podzielił się zdjęciami oraz rachunkami mającymi udowodnić, że nie było go wtedy w hotleu Four Seasons – zamieszczamy je poniżej. – Każde takie oskarżenie musi być potraktowane bardzo poważnie i dlatego na nie odpowiadam. Natomiast ta historia nie miała miejsca i dlatego będę pracował z Twitterem oraz odpowiednimi organami by podjąć środki prawne by to wyjaśnić – napisał Bieber.
Po oświadczeniu Danielle, podobną historią na Twitterze podzieliła się Kadi. Kobieta pisze, że poznała Biebera w maju 2015 roku, który „miał ją całować, ocierać się oraz rozpocząć penetrację bez jej zgody”. Bieber nie odniósł się jeszcze do tych oskarżeń.

In the past 24 hours a new Twitter appeared that told a story of myself involved with sexual abuse on March 9, 2014 in Austin Texas at the Four seasons hotel. I want to be clear. There is no truth to this story. In fact as I will soon show I was never present at that location.
